This collection is a work in progress. I will be releasing more paintings into the Fall.

Each portrait in this collection begins with automatic writing. I start by taking a deep breath, focusing on the present moment, and connecting with my body. I then ask myself, “what wants to come through me?” Listening to my inner voice, I write words onto the canvas, allowing them to become part of the final piece.

Following this, I make marks and apply paint using various brushes and tools, incorporating collage materials. This layered process culminates in a loosely drawn portrait, which I then bring to life, letting the abstract background and my intuition guide me. I am particularly drawn to images of contemplative women whose eyes reveal a deep inner world, reflecting the complexity and fascination I find in their layered stories.

It is a great pleasure to create pieces that balance abstract elements with refined details, especially in the faces and eyes. This balance reflects the harmony and unity I strive for in each piece, making them modern statement pieces for contemporary interiors. Personally, this collection represents my current exploration and discovery in life and art, a shared journey of creativity that I hope resonates with collectors.
